ADMINISTRATION/RECORDS CLERK
The Records Division is under the command of Chief Robert Evans. When a member of the public needs a copy of a report the Records Division is there to help. The Division ensures that departmental records are accurately entered into the records system. The required Uniform Crime Report records are then sent to the Federal Bureau of Investigations and the Alabama Criminal Justice System.
The Records Division also maintains the officers Alabama Peace Officers Training recertification and firearms qualifications records. The Records Division purchases equipment and supplies for the department. We also serve as departmental computer network system administrator and well as any other general clerical duties assigned by the Chief of Police.
